Yamamoto Delivers 4-2 Win
|
Portland registered a win at The ESPN Zone by beating the Washington Senators, 4-2. Pitcher Taisei Yamamoto was one reason why the Dragons triumphed. The third-place Dragons hiked their record to 21-21.
Yamamoto gave Portland a solid start. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit over 7 innings.
"Taisei kept his poise and got the job done," said Portland manager Greg Carpenter. "He was outstanding."
