Miami Keeps Trending in Wrong Direction
|
Toronto picked up a win at Molson Park, bumping off the Miami Cyclones, 6-4. Pitcher Santiago Ontiveros was a major reason the Juggernauts emerged victorious. Ontiveros yielded 2 runs over 6 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 1, and struck out 7. His record improves to 2-3. This loss makes it 7 in a row for Miami.
Toronto took control in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Bu-wei Kuang hit a run-scoring single to make it 3-2, Juggernauts.
"Things will change for us," said Miami manager Chris Stephan. "When things change, we'll get clicking."
