St. Louis Gaedels starter Jesus Loyola was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Denver Glaciers, 6-0. The win gives the Gaedels a record of 13-30.

Marco Barocio had a big 3-run home run for the Gaedels in the bottom of the fifth inning. With St. Louis leading 3-0 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he sized up a slider from Raul Garibaldi, who finished 3rd in the WC in strikeouts with 212 in 2080, and punished it. The result was his 4th home run of the season, which put the Gaedels on top, 6-0.

Said losing manager Todd Bleess: "The list goes on and on of things we just flat out didn't do."
