In a tight contest at Tesoro Stadium, the Miami Cyclones edged the Houston Aquas by the score of 6-5. Miami center fielder Yuki Soma, who blasted 1 home run, was a key contributor. Clement Powell was called on to finish, recording his 2nd save.

A crucial at-bat came with a runner on 1st and no one out in the top of the seventh inning. That's when catcher Jose Neria hit a single. The Cyclones went on to win.

"I had a good game," said Soma. "Winning makes it even better."
