The Boston Greens and Denver Glaciers left the fans buzzing.
Denver right-hander Pavel Orta pitched his team to victory over the Boston Greens at Mountain Dew Park. The final score was 5-3. The save was credited to John Huberty, his 1st.
In the top of the ninth, Zhong-shan Geng stood in the box, looking for a pitch to hammer. The Greens were trailing 5-3, but had runners on 1st and 3rd. That's when John Huberty made a terrific pitch and Geng struck out. Gone was the dream of a Boston comeback.
The Glaciers now have a mark of 17-24.
