The New York Titans pasted the Maine Lobster, 15-2. New York catcher Travis Csorba had a big game. He went 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. Nick Tamulevich picked up the win, improving his season record to 6-2. He struck out 3 in 5.1 innings. The loss makes Maine 25-16.

Mike Owens had a big 2-run double for the Titans in the bottom of the third inning. With New York leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he got a changeup from Jim Lawrence, who is tied for 2nd in the EC in strikeouts with 60, and swatted a double to left. It was his 6th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Titans ahead, 3-0.

"That was brutal," said losing manager Matthew McExpos.
