Harfangs Rebuff Destroyers, 4-2
|
The Montreal Harfangs picked up a win at Seaward Stadium, knocking off the San Diego Destroyers, 4-2. Starting pitcher Marcos Sordia was a big reason why. With the win, Montreal pushed its record to 22-18.
Tai sun Chow came through with a big-time hit for Montreal. The left fielder smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to give his team the lead, 4-2. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
Chow called the win a test of his team's "mettle."
