Ravens Victors, 4-1, at San Diego
The 2086 season did not get off to quite the start the San Diego Destroyers had hoped, with an opening day loss to the Yellowknife Ravens at Seaward Stadium. The final score was 4-1. Starting Pitcher B.J. Terriquez was the top performer for Yellowknife. The winner was Terriquez. He threw 5.1 innings of shutout ball. The loser was Bob Castillo. Juneau Beauchamp got credit for the save for Yellowknife. It was his 1st of the year.

The tension was thick in the bottom of the fifth inning. With runners on 2nd and 3rd and San Diego trailing 3-0, B.J. Terriquez had to get a big out. On a 2-2 fastball, he retired Michael Keding, who flied out.
