|
Havana right-hander Luis Casillas pitched his team to victory over the Washington Senators at The ESPN Zone. The final score was 4-2. At 26-14, Havana is in first place in the Eastern Conference Benito Cossutta Division.
Havana used a well-timed hit by Mario Murillo to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to put the Metropolitanos ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
"If I do my job, we've usually got a good chance to win the game," said Murillo.
