Rangers Pick Up 3-2 Win Over Baltimore
|
Buffalo left-hander Carlos Palafox helped his team edge Baltimore by the score of 3-2. Palafox kept the opposing lineup in check. Nees van Santen got the save, the 2nd for him this season. The Rangers bumped their record to 26-14 with this win.
Buffalo relied on the hitting of Charlie Cole to pick up the win. The right fielder ripped a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Rangers on top, 3-2. For the game, Cole had 1 triple and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said Baltimore manager Brad Carpenter.
