The Chicago Phantoms cut down the Houston Aquas by the score of 9-1, with the largest share of the credit going to center fielder David Kuthakwakulu. Kuthakwakulu went 3-4 with a triple, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 2 for the Phantoms. Vismay Falcon got the win, improving to 14-12. He worked 6.1 innings, giving up 1 run on 7 hits, while striking out 7 and walking 0. The 4th-place Phantoms lifted their record to 75-77.

With Chicago leading 2-0 in the bottom of the second, Kuthakwakulu hit a fastball from Slider Brooks for a 2-run triple. It was his 2nd triple of the season and put the Phantoms ahead, 4-0.

Phantoms manager Sam J had nothing but praise for his players after an impressive win, calling the result one of the team's best performances of the season. "Everything just came together on our end," he said. "I didn't need to do too much."
