Adkins Now 9-13 After Beating Cyclones
Boston used a superb performance from starting pitcher Kevin Adkins to down the Miami Cyclones, 9-1. The third-place Greens lifted their record to 72-78.

Adkins's performance can only be described as masterful. He notched 7 strikeouts in 8.2 innings while allowing 4 hits. Adkins, who is tied for 8th in the EC in complete games with 1, goes to 9-13 on the year with 166 strikeouts.

"I was able to change speeds effectively tonight," said Adkins.
