The Philadelphia Spectres topped the Maine Lobster, 8-2, in Eastern Conference action at Sony Field at Philadelphia. The game was highlighted by the performance of Philadelphia pitcher Hsin Bian. Bian, the winner, moves to 4-0. He threw 6.1 innings of 2-hit ball, while fanning 8 and giving up 4 walks. The last-place Spectres lifted their record to 65-86.

Early in the game, second baseman Eddie Kelly had a 2-run double for Philadelphia. It was his 31st double of the season and put the Spectres on top, 2-0.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Kelly said after the game.
