Phantoms Pick Up 2-1 Road Win Over Las Vegas
The Chicago Phantoms, despite a fine performance by Las Vegas pitcher Yolber Ajete, grabbed a 2-1 win at Western Coliseum. Ajete allowed 2 runs over 6 innings. The win belonged to Alexis Donini in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Yolber Ajete took the loss for Las Vegas. The win makes Chicago 74-75.

Chicago used a clutch at-bat from Yifu Chen to capture the win. The designated hitter hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Phantoms ahead, 2-1. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

Chen called winning a team effort. "It's not the same guy every time," he said. "It's the sum of the parts."
