The Phoenix Thunderbirds stormed past the Seattle Arrows, 12-7, at Legednary Park. Phoenix third basemanMin-yul Lee , who finished 2nd in the WC in RBI with 120 in 2081, led the hit parade. He went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. The victory makes Phoenix 14-27.

Phoenix shortstop Angel Rivero contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the first. With two down, he hit a fastball to center field for a 2-run single. It was his 20th hit of the season and put the Thunderbirds ahead, 5-0.

"I know we have our doubters," said Seattle manager Dr. Jay Siber. "But I still have high hopes for this team."
