Thanks in large part to first baseman Raymilson Bayam, the Brooklyn Browns beat the Montreal Harfangs, 6-3. Bayam went 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2. The winning pitcher was Angelo Somoza. His record now stands at 3-6. The right-hander went 8 innings, allowing 3 runs on 9 hits for the Browns. The Browns go to 76-70, putting them third in the Eastern Conference Paul Pagac Division.

Cole Chermak had a big 2-run double for the Browns in the bottom of the third inning. With Brooklyn leading 2-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a cutter from Ron Trevathan, who led the WC in ERA with 1.97 in 2074, and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 10th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Browns ahead, 4-0.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Brooklyn manager Jason Cormier.
