Behind a solid performance from designated hitter Cole Hickey, the Buffalo Rangers defeated the Maine Lobster, 3-2. Hickey went 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, and 2 walks for the Rangers. The 4th-place Lobster dropped to 69-76.

Buffalo used the hitting of Jon Sitterley to pick up the win. The third baseman clubbed a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Rangers on top, 3-2. For the game, Sitterley had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"We came out on the wrong end of this one," said Maine skipper Matthew McExpos.
