Lobster Fall, 3-1, to Baltimore
|
The Baltimore Kings got a good effort from starter Stuart Stephenson in defeating the Maine Lobster at AT&T Park. The final score was 3-1. Baltimore pitcher Marc Diamond got the win, upping his record to 3-1. Aaron Narduzzi got the loss. So far in 2083, Baltimore is 21-19.
Baltimore took advantage of an error in the bottom of the eighth inning. The game was tied, 1-1, when Robbie Klabunde hit a run-scoring single that was misplayed. It put the Kings in front, 2-1.
"Bottom line," said Maine skipper Matthew McExpos, "we didn't play well enough to win."
