Maine Makes It 8 Straight with 8-4 Win
The Maine Lobster faced a tough opponent in New York pitcher Salvatore Castellon, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Polo Grounds II by a final score of 8-4. Castellon went 6 innings and allowed 1 run. The winner was Adam Shallow in relief. His record improves to 4-0. Al Garay took the loss. Maine has rattled off 8 straight wins.

Marcos Galarraga came through with a big-time hit for Maine. The left fielder smacked a grand slam home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 6-3. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
