The Seattle Arrows beat the Brooklyn Browns, 8-7, at Power Ballpark. Seattle first baseman Al Guzman had an outstanding performance. He went 2 for 5 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. The winner was Seattle reliever Victor Romero, now 2-1. The loser was Adam Mimnaugh. Seattle is now 22-19.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With two out, Guzman hit a fastball from Harold Ruspoli for a run-scoring single. The Arrows, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"This place was electric at the end," Guzman said.
