Eager fans turned out for a matchup between the Miami Cyclones and Montreal Harfangs.

The Miami Cyclones defeated the Montreal Harfangs, 9-4, at Mount Royal Park. Miami was led by 29-year old third baseman Henry McAfee, who went 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Sergej van Anrooij earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed 2 runs on 3 hits in 2.2 innings. His record is now 7-3.

With Miami leading 1-0 in the top of the second, McAfee hit a fastball from Tom Dobie for a 2-run home run. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Cyclones ahead, 3-0.

"See ball, hit ball. When I think too much, that's when I get in trouble," McAfee told the Miami Daily.

The Cyclones raised their record to 57-85.
