The Las Vegas Aces could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Yolber Ajete into a win. Instead, the Vancouver Wolves prevailed, 4-3, in 10 innings. Ajete threw 6.2 innings allowing 1 run. With the win, the Wolves improved to 70-69.

The decisive blow was delivered by Osmel Rivera in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a run-scoring double off 30-year old right-handed pitcher Jason Petruska to win the game for Vancouver. The home crowd went nuts.

"The crowd was juiced," said Rivera.
