Miami Cyclones starter Billy Lorsung hurled his team past the Brooklyn Browns, 3-2. Nestor Fajardo earned the save for Miami. The win puts the Cyclones at 59-79, while the Browns drop to 65-74.
Chris Hodges, who is tied for 8th in the EC in RBI with 87, helped out the Miami cause in the top of the fourth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the first baseman was 1 for 4.
"It feels good, just a great win all around," Hodges said after the game.
