The Seattle Arrows earned a close win over the Philadelphia Spectres, thanks in part to Hsui-chen Yang. The Seattle right-hander played a key role in the 2-1 victory. Yang, now 4-3, was the winner. In 7.1 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 3, walking 2, and allowing 1 run. John Colon picked up his 2nd save of the season.

Manichiro Kawasaki had a direct impact on the outcome. Kawasaki contributed a run-scoring ground out in the top of the fourth inning to put Seattle up, 2-1.

"It was a tough night at the plate," said Philadelphia manager Ryan Huff.

The victory puts Seattle at 45-92.
