Streaking Stars Win Another One, 3-1
|
Aaron Kopta could take little solace in pitching a good game. The fact is his Phoenix Thunderbirds lost, dropping a 3-1 decision to the Los Angeles Stars at Legednary Park. The Stars have now reeled off 8 straight wins.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Dennis Videaux? The Los Angeles first baseman had a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Stars on top, 2-1. For the game, Videaux had 1 double and 2 singles in 4 at-bats.
