Vikings Rally Late to Clip Vancouver
|
Minneapolis registered a win at Minneapolis Grounds by beating the Vancouver Wolves, 4-3. Pitcher Benjamin Jones was one reason why the Vikings triumphed. The winner was Zee-loo Kim in relief. His record improves to 9-3. John Goeman took the loss. Minneapolis, at 81-56, is 4½ games up in the Western Conference Duviel Zaldivar Division.
Marvin Jackson was the walk-off hero for Minneapolis. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Vikings center fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"Felt great, felt really good," said Jones.
