Minneapolis left fielder Bobby Aguinaga contributed significantly to his team's 7-5 win over the San Diego Destroyers. Aguinaga, who finished 4th in the EC in stolen bases with 53 in 2079, went 3 for 4 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Vikings. Minneapolis reliever Jordan Zuniga picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Tony Anaya absorbed the loss. Minneapolis has now won 4 in a row.

Gentaro Arakawa, who leads the WC in runs scored with 37, helped out the Minneapolis cause in the bottom of the fifth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the designated hitter went 2-4 with a double and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 2.

"It felt good to put the barrel on the ball," said Aguinaga.
