The Boston Greens went home winners at Arrington Park, thanks in large part to starter Ryan Lloyd. Lloyd stifled the Santiago Avispas, enabling Boston to grab the 2-1 win. The win belonged to Miko Hakala in relief. His record improves to 5-3. Beau Eschmann took the loss for Santiago. The third-place Greens hiked their record to 64-70.

Boston got a knockout punch from Trevor Short. The first baseman hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"I had everything working," said Lloyd.
