The timely hitting of Sardis Abrego helped the Las Vegas Aces down the Houston Aquas, 9-4. Abrego went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4 for the Aces. The victory gives Las Vegas a record of 73-61.

With Las Vegas trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the fourth, Abrego hit a sinker from Ron Gelsomino for a 3-run home run. It was his 33rd home run of the season and put the Aces ahead, 3-1.

"The name of the game is scoring runs," Abrego said. "We did a good job of that today."
