Kau Big Deal in Montreal: Hits for Cycle
|
Du Kau hit for the cycle and paced the Montreal Harfangs to a win, 6-5, against the Boston Greens at Arrington Park.
The Harfangs center fielder led the way for his club with 4 hits in 4 at-bats -- 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run -- along with 2 runs batted in and 2 runs.
"Now that I know what Du is capable of, I'm going to expect it more often," Montreal manager Brendan Henry joked with reporters after the game.
Du Kau doubled in the 1st, tripled in the 4th, singled in the 5th and hit a two-run home run off Lyndon Kidd in the 7th.
