The Las Vegas Aces had to overcome a big game from Houston left fielder Ileanna Alfaro to leave Tesoro Stadium with a victory. And they did, winning, 8-6. Alfaro was 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The win puts Las Vegas at 67-67 this season.

Las Vegas used a clutch at-bat from Jimmy Arman to capture the win. The third baseman hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Aces ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Arman.
