The Maine Lobster downed the Havana Metropolitanos, 6-5. The hitting star was right fielder Jason Brown. Brown went 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times for the Lobster. Maine reliever Chris Maxwell picked up the win, upping his record to 7-11. Ricardo Alas took the loss. The losses continue to mount for Havana, which has now dropped 6 in a row.

Millville, Massachusetts-born Cody McLaughlin came through in the clutch. In the bottom of the eighth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd and the Lobster trailing 5-4, he hit a 2-run single to center to put Maine on top.

"We ground out the win," said McLaughlin. "That's all that matters."
