The Miami Cyclones had no problem beating the Havana Metropolitanos, 12-3, at Kroger Stadium. Bingham Brown, the 29th overall pick in the 2080 draft, led the onslaught. He hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice for Miami. Miami is now 53-77, Havana 61-70.

Jose Neria had a big 2-run double for the Cyclones in the bottom of the first inning. With Miami leading 2-0 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he got a changeup from 26-year old right-handed pitcher Luis Casillas and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 16th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Cyclones ahead, 4-0.
