Harfangs Win Again, Streak Now at 10
The Montreal Harfangs bested the Buffalo Rangers, 8-5, at Mount Royal Park. Emilio Oregon was one of the standouts. He went 2 for 2 with a double and was hit 2 times. He scored 2 runs. Tetsukazu Kaneda got the save, the 6th for him this season. Now 77-54, the Harfangs have won 10 games in a row.

Matt Linkous had a big 2-run double for the Harfangs in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Montreal trailing 5-4 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from Craig Kruppenbacher and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 2nd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Harfangs ahead, 6-5.

Afterward, Buffalo manager Alex Beckman said: "We've hit a rough patch."
