Titans Send Las Vegas Home with 8-7 Loss
New York registered a win at Western Coliseum by beating the Las Vegas Aces, 8-7. Pitcher Lao Lum was one reason why the Titans triumphed. Lum, now 3-7, was the winner. In 7.1 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 3, walking 0, and allowing 4 runs. The 4th-place Titans hiked their record to 64-65.

Jeremy Ruzicka had a big 2-run triple for the Titans in the top of the third inning. With New York leading 2-1 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a sinker from 25-year old left-handed pitcher Yolber Ajete and swatted a triple to right-center. It was his 2nd triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Titans ahead, 4-1.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Ruzicka.
