Yadisniel Saez, who finished 3rd in the WC in ERA with 3.04 in 2083, propelled his team to victory over the St. Louis Gaedels. The final score was 4-3, Vancouver. Victor Franco came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 1.2 innings. His record now stands at 11-3. The Wolves, at 68-62, sit in third place in the Western Conference Michael Fridy Division.

Per Fronteira was the walk-off hero for Vancouver. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Wolves third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"No one player deserves all the credit when you win," Fronteira said. "And the same is true when you lose."
