Juggernauts Win, Kuang belts 2 home runs
|
Bu-wei Kuang led the Toronto Juggernauts to a nifty 11-4 win over the Miami Cyclones. The Toronto first baseman was a force of nature. He banged out 3 extra-base hits, including 2 home runs and 1 double. Santiago Ontiveros, who went 5.1 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 4 runs on 7 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 5. His record now stands at 8-8. The Juggernauts go to 55-72, putting them last in the Eastern Conference Benito Cossutta Division.
Caleb Graham had a key at-bat with two out in the top of the third for Toronto. With the bases loaded and the Juggernauts leading 3-2, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run.
"It was great to come out and swing the bats," Graham told the Toronto Gazette.
