Aces Overwhelm Cyclones, 15-3
|
The Las Vegas Aces scored a convincing win at Western Coliseum, defeating the Miami Cyclones, 15-3. One of the hitting stars was Juan Carrizales, who is tied for 10th in the WC in extra base hits with 17, who went 4 for 5 with 2 home runs and 2 singles. He scored 4 runs and drove in 4. Brian Burda, who went 5.2 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 1 run on 6 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 2. His record now stands at 3-2. The Aces, at 21-17, sit in first place in the Western Conference Michael Fridy Division.
