Stars Ballpark was host to some action-packed drama.

The Los Angeles Stars faced a tough opponent in Seattle pitcher Felipe Diaz, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Stars Ballpark by a final score of 6-5 in 13 innings. Diaz went 6 innings and allowed 3 runs. Jimmy Oyola, 2-1, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.1 innings.

The decisive blow was delivered by Bonaventure Moser in the bottom of the 13th when he hit a run-scoring double off 23-year old right-handed pitcher Francisco Cejudo to win the game for Los Angeles. The home crowd went nuts.

"We fed off the energy of the crowd at the end," Moser said.

The second-place Stars sport a record of 24-14.
