Philadelphia pitcher Gary Banks did his part in helping his team beat the Boston Greens, 5-0. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. Yeral Varela closed it out for Philadelphia, earning his 1st save. With the win, the Spectres improved to 55-71.

Philadelphia took control in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Eddie Kelly hit a 2-run single to make it 2-0, Spectres.

"It's nice to step up when your team needs you," said Kelly.
