The New York Titans locked up a win at Polo Grounds II, knocking off the Denver Glaciers, 4-3. On the mound for New York was right-hander Keiyo Nagao. He played a major role in the triumph. Reliever Sergio Saldivar picked up the win. His record improves to 4-2. Adam Mimnaugh, who led the EC in saves with 42 in 2081, took the loss. The Titans, at 67-58, sit in second place in the Eastern Conference Muldoom O'Mulmohery Division.
The game was decided with no one out in the bottom of the ninth. With New York trailing 3-2, DeMario Natividad hit a changeup from Mike Pechtel to right for a 2-run single. Just like that, the Titans had a walk-off win.
"Even if things get a little hairy, Keiyo trusts his ability," said New York manager Nate Beckman.
