Albuja Helps San Francisco Bombard Cincinnati
At Cincinnati Grounds, the Cincinnati Twins and San Francisco Friars were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

The San Francisco Friars soundly defeated the Cincinnati Twins, 14-4, at Cincinnati Grounds, with right fielder Edgar Albuja a major reason why. He went 3 for 6 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 and driving in 7 for San Francisco. San Francisco reliever Lyalya Markosiants got the win, raising his record to 12-5. David Prentice was tagged with the loss.

Early in the game, Albuja had a bases-clearing double for San Francisco. It was his 11th double of the season and put the Friars on top, 3-0.

"It's always fun to score a lot of runs," said Albuja.

With the win, San Francisco raised its record to 70-54.
