Bison Stadium played host to some dramatic action.

Buffalo Rangers starter Jose Ruiz pitched effectively against the Miami Cyclones at Bison Stadium. The right-hander spearheaded his team's 7-6 win. By defeating Miami, the first-place Rangers improved to 73-51.

Buffalo got a knockout punch from Cole Hickey. The first baseman hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"This place sure got loud," said Alex Beckman, the Buffalo manager.
