The Minneapolis Vikings beat the Denver Glaciers, 8-3, at Minneapolis Grounds. Gentaro Arakawa hit 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. The two-time All-Star was a menace to Denver all day. With the win, Minneapolis upped its record to 73-52.

Third Baseman Gilberto Cerda made an impact for Minneapolis, when he swatted a run-scoring double off Kyle Cordle in the bottom of the third. For the contest, Cerda went 1-5 with a double.
