The Philadelphia Spectres weathered an outstanding game by Boston right fielder Matt Steinruck to topple the Greens, 6-4. Steinruck was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The 'W' lifts Philadelphia's record to 67-56.

Vincent Horvers had a big 2-run double for the Spectres in the bottom of the second inning. With Philadelphia leading 2-0 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he got a fastball from 32-year old left-handed pitcher Adrian Portuondo and swatted a double to center. It was his 18th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Spectres ahead, 4-0.

Horvers said his team "played with a purpose."
