The Houston Aquas got a sterling performance from designated hitter Ricky Zika, but the New York Titans still prevailed, 5-3. Zika went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The 4th-place Titans hiked their record to 61-62.

Making an impact for New York was first baseman Jeremy Ruzicka. He drilled a run-scoring double off Chris Sayler in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, Ruzicka went 1-4 with a double.
