|
B.J. Terriquez was nothing short of phenomenal for the Alaska Kodiaks. The 26-year-old right-hander was a big reason his team beat the Tucson Toros, 3-1. The winning pitcher was Terriquez, now 2-2. He tossed 6 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 6. Alaska has now won 5 in a row.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Felix Perez? The Alaska designated hitter had a run-scoring double in the top of the first inning to put the Kodiaks on top, 1-0. For the game, Perez had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
