Aquas Keep Streak Alive with Late Rally
The Houston Aquas weathered an outstanding game by Minneapolis third baseman Javy Trinidad to topple the Vikings, 6-5. Trinidad was 3-5 with 2 home runs and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Houston reliever Armando Montoya was the winner. His record is now 1-1. Zee-loo Kim took the loss. The win elevated the Aquas to 70-54.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Houston third baseman Craig Lightsey, facing Zee-loo Kim, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Aquas the 6-5 win.

"We're one win closer to our goal," Lightsey said in postgame remarks.
