The first-place Maine Lobster picked up another win.

Maine pitcher Ted Ayres did his part in helping his team beat the Miami Cyclones, 4-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. Tom Parmenter recorded the save. In save chances, he's now 1 for 1.

Marcos Galarraga had a big solo home run for the Lobster in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Maine leading 3-1 and the bases empty, he got a sinker from 25-year old left-handed pitcher Billy Lorsung and swatted a home run to left-center. It was his 10th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Lobster ahead, 4-1.

"Ted did a really nice job of taking the ball and giving us a chance to win the game," said Maine manager Matthew McExpos.

With this game in the books, Maine is 69-53, Miami 53-68.
