Denver Loss Tarnishes Eighmy Performance
The Washington Senators weathered a fine game by Denver first baseman Chris Eighmy to upend the Glaciers, 5-4, at The ESPN Zone. Eighmy went 3-4 with 2 home runs and a double. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3. Reliever Chris Quickle picked up the win. His record improves to 3-1. Edwin Munoz took the loss. Washington sits in last place in the Eastern Conference Muldoom O'Mulmohery Division at 48-74.

Alex Tejeda, who finished 4th in the EC in triples with 7 in 2082, helped out the Washington cause in the bottom of the second inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the left fielder drew 1 walk in 5 trips to the plate.

"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Denver manager Todd Bleess said, following the tough loss.
