Senators Suffer 6-4 Setback
The San Francisco Friars overcame a good performance by Washington left fielder Danny Mrazek to knock off Washington, 6-4, at The ESPN Zone. Mrazek was 2-3 with a double and 2 walks. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. The Friars win now puts them at 68-53.

San Francisco used a timely hit from George Meilleur to get the win. The catcher stroked a 2-run double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Friars ahead, 6-4. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it made an impact.

In comments to the San Francisco Citizen, Meilleur admitted that he doesn't always push himself. "But the results," he said, "speak for themselves."
