The Vancouver Wolves stopped the Minneapolis Vikings, 4-2, at Fox-Chong Park. The Wolves got a big game from Minoru Kume, who went 2-3 with a home run and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Vancouver pitcher Yasniel Ramirez got the win. He's now 6-4. Josh Hawes was tagged with the loss. The Wolves, at 55-67, sit in 4th place in the Western Conference Michael Fridy Division.

Matt Szymanski aided the Vancouver cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the shortstop drew 1 walk.

"I thought we played a nice game," Kume told the Vancouver Daily. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
