Yero Hits Two Homers in 9-7 Win for Brooklyn
The Brooklyn Browns topped the Havana Metropolitanos, 9-7, at Estadio Latinoamericano. Brooklyn shortstop Victor Yero was a spark plug for the offense. He hit 2 home runs, while adding 6 RBI and scoring twice. Brooklyn is in third place in the Eastern Conference Zach Gavula Division with a record of 65-55.

In the top of the sixth, the Browns grabbed the lead when Yero hit his 2nd home run of the season. The 3-run home run off Alan Hand made it 8-6, Brooklyn.

"It was offense that won us the game," said winning manager Jason Cormier.
